Belfield’s, owned by Brian Belcher and Lynda Fielding, is a family run fish and chip shop with over three decades of experience. We opened our first shop in Burnley in 1981, after Brian had developed a taste for the trade helping out in his parents' business. This was followed by a second shop, also in Burnley and we moved to our present location in 1989, where we are still at the helm of the business, assisted by our son, Robert and our team of hard working and skilled staff.
Our reputation is built on producing consistently high quality food in a clean and controlled environment coupled with our personal and friendly customer service.
We source our ingredients from reputable suppliers who ensure that we have the freshest and best quality products available which we cook on the latest high efficiency frying technology.
We are members of the National Federation of Fish Friers (NFFF) and are currently proud holders of the prestigious NFFF Fish & Chip Quality Award, which is a benchmark for quality and competence within the fish and chip industry.
Belfield’s has also achieved a food hygiene rating of 5 from Burnley Borough Council.
Belfield’s has gained many awards over the years, the pinnacle being twice awarded Regional Winners in the National Fish & Chip Awards organized by SEAFISH.
